Caregivers will assist clients with daily living activities. No experience necessary, as we provide training.

Candidates must be flexible to work weekends. We require that our staff transport clients in their own vehicles as needed.

General Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting and oversees accounting operations.  Coordinates credit and collection activities, payroll, billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities.

 

 

Qualifications & Education Required:

–      Bachelor Degree preferred

–      Seven years of accounting and payroll experience

–      Ability to work independently and as a self-starter

–      Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

–      Computer literate, experience with MS Office, Quickbooks Desktop, ability to type 55 WPM

 

 

Responsibilities:

General Accounting/Financial

–      Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures

–      Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure

–      Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

–      Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

–      Initiates budget and forecasting activities

–      Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department

–      Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy

–      Establishes mutual goal setting and achievement standards

–      Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions

 

Accounts Receivable/Collections

–      Conducts credit and collection techniques and completion of all necessary paperwork and data entry

–      Manages credit and collection activities on past due accounts

–      Communicates with CEO and Administrator on all accounts receivable

–      Assures that acceptable collection goals are maintained

–      Supervises and follows up on receiving signed service agreements and deposits

–      Processing of weekly credit card and ACH client payments

 

Accounts Payable

–      Processing and payment of all vendor payments

–      Accurate tracking of account purchases and balances

–      Bank account reconciliation

 

Full Service Payroll

–      Supervises the completion of all required insurance and 401(k) forms in a timely manner

–      Responsible for EEOC reporting requirements

–      Participates in and supervises data entry for payroll and billing, preparation and sending of all paperwork for payroll and billing, and checks payroll checks for accuracy before final processing to employees

–      Completion and submission of quarterly and yearly payroll tax returns and payments

–      Corrects any payroll and billing adjustments that are necessary

–      Assures correct data entry of client information and payroll and billing information into the system

–      Balance and final processing of payroll and billing by Wednesday at 2pm

 

Building Management

–      Manage building tenant accounts

–      Manage property maintenance and improvements

 

General Office

–      Projects a concerned, professional appearance towards departmental personnel and external customers

–      Provide training to new and existing staff members

–      Processing thorough background check on new employees

–      Assist in orientation of new employees

–      Maintains high visibility and availability via telephone while in the office

–      Maintain and monitor adequate level of supplies in office

–      Manage records retention

–      Running thorough background check on new employees

–      Assist in orientation of new employees

–      Assist other departments as necessary

–      Performs other duties as assigned

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • The Accounting Manager may sit comfortably to perform the work. Walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers and office supplies, computer work, and answering phones will be required.
